Terms & Conditions — Rant Zone

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Rant Zone experience and related marketing pages at rant.zone. Rant Zone may be offered within the YB Zone mobile application as a distinct lane from map-based features. By using Rant Zone or this site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

“We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of Rant Zone and YB Zone (the “Service”). Contact details may be provided in the app or on this site as they become available.

2. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age required by your jurisdiction to use the Service (often 13 or higher, or higher where local law requires). If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must permit your use where applicable.

3. What Rant Zone is (and is not)

Rant Zone is designed as a space for expression — including emotional venting — separate from location-first (“map”) features where those exist. Rant Zone is not professional counseling, therapy, or medical advice. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis line.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Harass, threaten, or incite violence against any person or group;
Share unlawful content, including child sexual abuse material (reported to authorities where required);
Distribute malware, scrape the Service in violation of our rules, or attempt to break security;
Impersonate others in a deceptive or harmful way;
Spam or manipulate the experience in bad faith.

We may remove content, restrict accounts, or cooperate with law enforcement when required by law or necessary for safety.

5. Your content

You retain rights to content you create, subject to the license you grant us to host, display, and operate the Service (e.g. storage, moderation, technical delivery). You represent that your content does not violate third-party rights or law.

6. Privacy & marketing analytics — Rant Zone stance

Marketing pages at rant.zone describe Rant Zone as a lane not intended for selling your emotional data to advertisers or building ad-targeting profiles from your vents. Operation of the live app may still require limited technical data (for example: authentication, security, abuse prevention, crash diagnostics, and compliance with law). That operational data is not described here as a substitute for the in-app Privacy Policy, which controls when the app is updated.

We do not warrant that zero data is ever processed — running any online service requires some processing — but Rant Zone is not positioned as a “feelings harvesting” product for marketing analytics.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes may be communicated through the app or this site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country cannot be waived.
